Introduction

Our vision is to revolutionise the way people experience and interact with places and proposals through cutting-edge digital twin and immersive technology. We want to ensure that future places are shaped by quality, inclusive community engagement, allowing all voices to be heard.

Our digital tools enable the testing of proposals from multiple perspectives and the modelling of development scenarios to assess their impact before making decisions. This can significantly improve decision-making which reduces project risks and costs.

We use of our highly visual digital tools and immersive experiences to break through accessibility barriers in the planning system. We make inaccessible planning-speak and overly complex communication, much more understandable and enjoyable for people to engage with.

Clients gain full ownership of their 3D models which are hosted on a shared platform. This encourages data sharing with stakeholders and project partners which improves collaboration across projects. It also allows for greater flexibility, control, and long-term cost savings.

We bring places to life through our immersive technology and digital tools, transforming how people experience and interact with physical spaces. Our digital tools and platforms help communicate narratives of the development of places and can be used to create slick, user-friendly videos, to help tell stories.

Our award-winning work in 3D and virtual reality also helps support behaviour change. Our immersive approach helps people ‘feel’ what future places will be like, stirring emotional connections and changing behaviours.

Testimonials

Watford’s digital urban model is a great tool, helping us with our capacity studies, the development of our taller building policy, and supporting our remote design review sessions. It has helped us to have confidence and achieve better outcomes for all parties optimising the potential for each site

Sian Finney MacDonald
Urban Design and Conservation Manager, Watford Borough Council

We're delighted with our digital model for Birkenhead. It is proving to be a real asset, helping staff, senior members and councillors all to engage in the development and design of major regeneration projects and masterplans.

Keith Keely
Programme Manager, Wirral Borough Council

Thank you to Digital Urban for providing an impressive 3D model for Wirral. The model was used to support our successful £45m Towns Fund application. We used the model to create a video as part of our submission allowing us to demonstrate the scale and ambition behind our regeneration programme.

The Wirral Digital Model
See how the Wirral Digital Model is successfully helping the council by bringing together ideas for changes from different sources. It is also communicating these future town and infrastructure changes to committee members, internal staff, and stakeholders.
VR and immersive community engagement for the Mid Cornwall Metro
See how we partnered with multiple stakeholders to develop engaging immersive experiences to communicate the enormity of the investment into travel plans across the whole county. Previous consultations had drawn feedback from over 40s and the council was determined to engage a wider age demographic.
Folkestone community engagement
We delivered three digital experiences: a magic carpet ride VR experience, an urban explorer quest and a media table showcase. These engaged the public over two 3-day series of workshops at different stages of the regeneration planning. Additionally our Youth Engagement team ran youth engagement events with over 200 pupils.
