Introduction

To facilitate rapid and intuitive decision making regarding the business case for net zero mobility hubs, the Greater South East Net Zero Hub (GSENZ) commissioned the development of a cloud based, web accessible techno-economic feasibility assessment digital tool kit accessible by and for constituent local authorities.

Challenges

Develop a local authority accessible toolkit for the rapid techno-economic feasibility assessment of mobility hubs with economic modelling in 5 year increments to 2050 by bringing together highly disconnected data sets, complex spreadsheet based models and create an environment for easy comparative analysis of options.

Solutions

Deployment of SimAnalytica’s applications to the GSENZ and constituent local authorities to reduce dependency on third party consultants and automate the business case quantification for alternate mobility hub configurations.

Results

A web-accessible toolkit delivered in less than 8 weeks saving ~£25k in external consulting fees per project with a total ROI of 10-20X.
