Cross Works is an award-winning design and technology firm specialising in cities. We work where architecture, urban design and technology meet, and we have delivered more than 40 projects across more than 20 countries to date.

What sets us apart is the make-up of our team. We have architects, urban designers, city planners, masterplanners, GIS specialists, computational designers, web designers and software engineers. That mix means we can take a project from early analytics & strategy through to design, visualisation & digital tools, all under one roof.

Our design work covers architecture and building design, masterplanning and urban design, and city planning for giga-projects and large mixed-use developments, as well as branding strategy. On the technology side, we build urban analytics and visualisation tools, custom software and applications, digital twins and web platforms. Increasingly the two sides feed into one another, so the thinking behind a masterplan and the technology used to plan, model and present it are synthesized and developed together.

We are headquartered in Camden, London, with a second office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and a third in Tashkent, Uzbekistan where we recently designed a new city for the government. From these bases we work with clients on projects of all scales, applying the same standard of design rigour and technical capabilities throughout.
