Introduction

WaterOffsets is a vertically integrated water technology and digital intelligence company supporting planning authorities, developers, and design teams in delivering water-resilient, sustainable development. We work in high water-stress regions where rapid urbanisation, climate change, flooding, drought, pollution, and declining water resources increasingly constrain growth and undermine public health, economic activity, and social wellbeing.

Our approach is holistic, addressing the full hydrological cycle and actively managing both water supply and demand. We enable highly efficient water use, down to 65 litres per person per day, around 33% of typical consumption, while supporting nutrient neutrality and wider environmental compliance. In the UK, we have helped design over 4,000 water-neutral homes, successfully supporting planning consents and appeals and facilitating the delivery of much-needed housing.

WaterOffsets combines physical water solutions with advanced digital capability. Our work centres on Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and Mapping and Environmental and Sustainability Services, using spatial data, scenario modelling, and predictive analytics to assess land suitability, environmental risk, and long-term resilience. Our flagship digital platform, WaterSphere, integrates satellite Earth observation, sensor networks, and local datasets to provide real-time monitoring, multi-layer mapping, and environmental simulation.

Alongside WaterSphere, we develop specialist solutions including AquaCITY for urban water intelligence, Rainmaker10 for decentralised grey-water reuse, NANRO for nano-material-enabled industrial water treatment insights, and RiverClean360 for river/lake inlet treatment. These tools support evidence-based decision-making, transparent engagement, and sustainable design.

Our vision is to deliver global water resilience, starting in the UK, with growing operations in Latin America and increasing engagement across South and Southeast-Asia.
