The Digital Planning Directory, digitalplanningdirectory.org (the Directory) is a one-stop shop for state-of-the-art digital planning solutions. The Directory lists providers offering digital planning tools, services, and platforms.  Seed-funded by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG), the Directory is delivered and managed by the Digital Task Force for Planning.

These terms tell you the rules for using our Website digitalplanningdirectory.org (our Website) and the Directory included in it.  Where we refer in these terms to the Website we include the Directory posted on the Website (unless clearly stated otherwise).

This may include changing the order of listings, the categories of businesses listed, the details included or the way listings are displayed.

Our Website is made available to view free of charge. If you wish to have the details of your business included in the Directory and made available via our Website you will need to open an account with us in accordance with the section.  Please Register or contact us on info@digital4planning.com if you are interested in listing your business in the Directory.

We do not guarantee that our Website, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. We may suspend or withdraw or restrict the availability of all or any part of our Website for business and operational reasons. We will try to give you reasonable notice of any suspension or withdrawal.  We may deny you access to the Website if you do not comply with these terms.

You are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who access our Website through your internet connection are aware of these Terms of Use and other applicable terms of service, and that they comply with them.

We may transfer this agreement to someone else

We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation. We will always notify users if this happens and we will ensure that the transfer will not affect your rights under these terms.

Our Website is only for users in the UK

Our Website is directed to people residing in the United Kingdom. We do not represent that content available on or through our Website is appropriate for use or available in other locations.

We are either the owner of all intellectual property rights in our Website, and in the material published on it, or we have been licensed by listed service providers or others to include such material in the Website and the Directory. The Directory is solely for your personal reference or internal business purposes. You acknowledge that the copyright and other rights in materials provided by businesses for inclusion in the Directory belong to them. You must not reproduce or license any part of the Directory or other content on our Website for commercial purposes without obtaining a licence to do so from us or our licensors.

You may print off one copy, and may download extracts, of any page(s) from our Website for your personal use and you may draw the attention of others within your organisation to content posted on our Website.

If you print off, copy, download, share or repost any part of our Website in breach of these Terms of Use, your right to use our Website will cease immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made (except that you are permitted to print off a copy of these Terms of Use).

The trade mark “Digital Planning Directory” is  an unregistered trade mark, rights in which belong to the Task Force. You are not permitted to use it without our approval, unless it is part of material you are using as permitted under How you may use material on our Website. You may not use the marks “Digital Task Force for Planning”, “the “Task Force”, “MHCLG” or “Ministry of Housing, Communities, and Local Government”, or their respective logos, without our approval.

User-generated content is not approved by us

Our Website may include information and materials uploaded by other users. This information and these materials have not been verified or approved by us. The views expressed by other users on our Website do not represent our views or values.

The content on our Website is provided for general information only. It is not intended to amount to advice on which you should rely. You must obtain professional or specialist advice before taking, or refraining from, any action on the basis of the content on our Website.
