Introduction
We offer planning services for:
- Design codes and neighbourhood plans: fully digital website-based plans, including interactive digital mapping and shapefiles.
- Council land and assets: digital mapping analysis, community engagement and visioning of future possibilities.
- Community engagement: fun, interactive and with integrated mapping tools, our digital surveys allow each community to directly feed into policy ideas for their area, contributing their invaluable local knowledge.
What makes our digital tools different?
We utilise esri and ArcGIS to make digital plan making accessible, effective, and - crucially - affordable for clients; our packages are designed for town and parish councils, forums and SME developers.
This includes digital mapping, interactive digital policy maps and shapefiles that can be integrated with local authority local plan maps. We specialise in applying qualified planning advice to inventive uses of digital mapping. This combination generates useful and effective community engagement tools that work for different types of community - from easy-to-use field mapping tools for working groups to record findings on-site, to fun and interactive digital surveys.
Additionally, ONH has now launched our first digital neighbourhood plan and design code websites. These sites are designed to be clear, simple and fully accessible. Why digital websites over paper plans? The website format allows users of all ability levels to easily navigate and engage with plans and policies that impact on their local area.
